What is this about?
This event is part of a distributed global event called “Global Azure Bootcamp Day”. On April 21st, 2018, approximately 200 events like this will be held all around the world. The purpose is to share knowledge of the Azure ecosystem, meet peers currently using or interested in Azure, and hear from experts on what is new and exciting within the Azure platform.
Is this event for me?
If you’re interested in “the cloud”, an expert with Azure or anything in between, this event is for you. This is a community driven event and we welcome all. Some of the sessions will be higher level “What does this all mean to me as a developer” focused while others will dive down into the weeds of how to take advantage of Azure. We will discuss a lot of topics in multiple tracts as we attempt to utilize the space to provide as much great content as possible throughout the day.
Great, but a whole day?! On a Saturday? I understand, giving up a whole Saturday is precious (it is for me too), but I hope you can spend the day with us. Even if you are only able to attend part of the day, that’s OK. An agenda will be distributed soon. Food, snacks and coffee/drinks will be provided.
Where is this event?
This year’s event will be held at the St. Louis Community College’s Corporate Campus in Bridgeton, Missouri. They have some great facilities which will allow us to provide multiple tracts of content simultaneously. Parking is free and their should be plenty. The address and a map are included on this page. The location is near the intersection of I-270 and I-70 and at GPS or other mapping app should get you right there easily.
What should I bring into the event?
It’s recommended to bring your own laptop to participate in hands-on labs. If you have any specific dietary needs, bringing your own food is recommended.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
