Creating virtual machines in Azure is one of those basic skills that almost everyone needs to understand. This hands on lab will help you understand creating virtual machines in the Azure portal, using the cross-platform command line tools and PowerShell.
You will be creating both Linux and Windows virtual machines as well as understanding some of the more advanced virtual machine configuration concepts. You will experience configuring networking and storage options in an Azure environment to better understand how to build out your environments in the cloud.
Space is limited and you will be required to bring your own laptop to perform the labs. If you cannot make the event be sure to change your RSVP so people on the waitlist can take advantage of the event.
The portal will run great on modern PCs, Macs, and tablets. Mobile phones are not currently supported.
